Bright Plastics Showroom: A successful manufacturing company located in Greensboro, North Carolina, retained Bump Design to redesign their office space to showcase their unique products and services to potential clients. Bump Design began the process by methodically reviewing Bright Plastics’ brand colors and fonts. The design team adapted the logo so that it would have more dimension while making it easier for customers to read and identify on signage. After the logo development was completed, the design was incorporated throughout the showroom. Photographs were taken in the manufacturing facility showing the employees operating machinery and assembling the many Bright Plastics products. Each design decision was based on how it would fit with the overall brand and meet the objective of telling the story of what Bright Plastics can do for a potential customer.

Bright Plastics Lobby: The lobby was customized to reflect the variety and breadth of product manufactured by Bright Plastic through original artwork created from different products. For example, Bump Design created artwork from plastic parts to capture visitor’s interest as soon as they come in to the facility.

Bright Plastics Conference Room: The conference room was designed to tell the story of Bright Plastics’ capabilities to develop a product from concept design to manufacturing and distribution. Wall coverings were created from engineering blueprints to highlight the variety of products and offer clients a view into the forward-thinking mindset that is Bright Plastics.

Clemmons United Methodist Church: The large church in Clemmons, North Carolina, requested that Bump Design redesign their outdated signs to better display their mission and value statements and serve as a reminder of the values of the church. Bump Design painted the wallpaper on one wall to create a warm feel to the space. Signage was used to include the “values statements” on the wall as part of the total art space. On the opposite wall, three-dimensional lettering was used to reflect the mission and value statements and keeping the look like the opposite wall. The outcome was a complete space that was inviting to new members and serving as a reminder to parishioners of the tenets upon which the church was built.

Quality Mart Hot Dog Center: A popular convenience store located in Clemmons, North Carolina, asked Bump Design to design a more inviting hot dog station. The objective behind the new design went beyond making an attractive food station that would boost sales—the goal was to also change the mindset of consumers to think of the Quality Mart as a place where they could purchase quality food. The color palette tied in with the strong brand presence already established throughout the Quality Mart chain. The eye-catching, bright colors of the three-dimensional signs were designed to attract customers to the space. From there, we created a friendly and inviting environment that would appeal to all age groups. The hot dog names were created to connect to local school mascots, giving customers a sense of belonging within the community and the understanding that this is their neighborhood store. The redesigned space has not only increased hot dog sales, it has created a changed mindset of consumers to think of the Quality Mart as a place to purchase fresh, quality food.
